Episode 1: The Problem of The Age

We Can Solve The Problem of The Age

You are not alone. I know a lot of you have been through hell over the past few years because of certain social trends in this country. Some of you have lost friends, children, grandchildren, parents, brothers, sisters. Some of you have lost jobs and other professional opportunities. Some of you have lost your right to say what you believe on Social Media or even at your family dinner table.

You might feel like you’re alone, but you’re not.

Sure, you might need to form new alliances. I’m working on that myself, and so are some of you. You might even need to change your career, your job, or the way you market your business. It’s sad that there are people in this world who are making it that way. But this is what it’s like to live in times of great change, which we certainly do.

From what I’m hearing in personal conversations, and what I’m seeing in private messages, emails, and in your posts, I know that this challenge is growing. Those who are hell-bent on silencing and intimidating you are getting louder, more spiteful, and more irrational. Some of you have lost a lot, and some still have more to lose.

But YOU ARE NOT ALONE.

Most importantly, there are more of “us” than you think. No amount of censorship, bullying, or peer pressure can stop that, because what we stand for it not a fleeting trend. It’s a timeless idea. An idea that’s still very much alive in the hearts of millions of Americans. It’s an idea based on the principles of Free Will, Charity, Truth, Respect, and The Providence of Almighty God.

That idea is Freedom. Not the Freedom to have whatever the hell you want regardless of who you have to rob, or bully to get it. It’s Freedom FROM the tyranny of being forced to live by someone else’s idea of what is “right.”

If you know what I’m talking about, YOU ARE NOT ALONE. And no matter how silent you are now, you have a voice. Even if you only speak your beliefs in the privacy of your own heart. This morning, I woke up thinking of the words of one of my favorite authors and philosophers, Ralph Waldo Emerson…

“Every revolution was first a thought in one man’s mind, and when the same thought occurs to another man, it is the key to that era. Every reform was once a private opinion, and when it shall be a private opinion again it will solve the problem of the age.”

We all know what the “problem of the age” is because it’s bearing down on us right now. It’s the arrogant belief that we should submit to the “rules” of those who THINK they know what is “best” for the rest of us. It’s the belief that anyone who doesn’t embrace these “rules” is a horrible person who must be silenced.

Let me remind you that this has been tried many times in history, and in many countries.  Hundreds of millions of people died in the 20th Century because of this sick, twisted view of the world. A day may come when this idea will have its time in America. But it’s people like you who will make sure that it does not last. More important, it’s people like you who will be left standing to make sure that Freedom rises once again in its wake.

You are not alone. You have the power to help solve The Problem of the Age.
