Working Above the Snakeline - Earning More By Working Less Hours

Podcast 42: Above the Snakeline

Working Above the Snakeline: Earn More By Working Less

Working above the snakeline is the secret to achieving the infamous “4-Hour Workweek.” From my 10,000+ hours of one-on-one coaching with thousands of entrepreneurs, working with everyone from the broke, to the wealthy, I’ve learned that the standard Monday to Friday, 40 plus hour work week is just a fossil of the industrial age model.

Working above the snakeline is the secret to escaping this slave-like work model. It empowers you to create more value in a few hours than most people do in an entire week, or even a month. If you can do this, why shouldn’t you earn just as much money (or more) for a few hours of work as these people do in an entire week, or month? If you’re an ambitious person, this equation shouldn’t sound illogical or even surprising.

Just think about all the jobs you’ve worked in your life. My guess is, you’ve worked alongside dozens, if not hundreds, of people who don’t work nearly as hard, or as smart, as you do. Yet, they make the same exact amount of money, just for showing up? The truth is, earning money isn’t about showing up and putting in the time. That, again, is an outdated assumption which needs to die along with the industrial age economic model.

The new economy gives smart and ambitious entrepreneurs the opportunity to break this mold. The secret is to learn to ascend beyond the mental plane of competition and into the mental plane of creation. This is the first step to working above the snakeline, and achieving your dreams of being a true entrepreneur.
